Knowshon Moreno Fantasy Update: Willis McGahee Ruins Moreno’s Momentum

Knowshon Moreno has yet to make an impact in the Denver Broncos running game this season, and as astute fantasy owners are probably aware by now, the running backs statistics probably won't warrant a start in the near future either. With Willis McGahee back in the lineup, Moreno totaled just eight yards on two rushes and two receptions in the Broncos victory over the Oakland Raiders.

Moreno had 123 rushing yards and 97 receiving yard on the season without a rushing touchdown entering Week 9. Moreno was averaging 25 yards rushing per game and 11 yards receiving per game. Moreno’s rushing yards per game were down nearly 30 yards per game from last season.

Moreno was ranked as the 25th ranked running back according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Oakland Raiders who rank 16th against the run, giving up 117 rushing yards per game.
