Miles Austin Fantasy Recap: WR Leaves Early With Hamstring Injury

Miles Austin had a disappointing day on Sunday, leaving early after aggravating his hamstring injury in the first quarter. The timing is especially frustrating, as he was actually off to a fine start, looking like he was on his way to his second 100-yard game of the season. Instead, he finished with two catches for 53 yards. In his last three games, he's combined for just 96 yards.

Austin had 350 receiving yard on the season with four receiving touchdowns entering Week 9. Austin was averaging 70 yards receiving per game. Austin’s receiving yards per game were up nearly five yards per game from last season.

Austin was ranked as the 7th ranked wide receiver according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Seattle Seahawks who rank 18th against the pass, giving up 237 passing yards per game.
