Plaxico Burress Fantasy Stats: Jets Win Despite Just 20 Passing Completions

Plaxico Burress was the New York Jets top receiver on Sunday, but that fact isn't as impressive as it might sound to his fantasy owners considering Mark Sanchez threw just one touchdown on 28 passing attempts. Burress was targeted five times, the most of any Jets receiver, resulting in five receptions for 79 yards -- though he was unfortunately held out of the end zone as two of the team's touchdowns came from just one-yard out.

Burress had 243 receiving yard on the season with 5 receiving touchdowns entering Week 9. Burress was averaging 35 yards receiving per game.

Burress was ranked as the 35th ranked wide receiver according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Buffalo Bills who rank 24th against the pass, giving up 266 passing yards per game.
