Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels had a quiet day against the Cleveland Browns. Houston clobbered the Browns, but did most of the work on the ground on their way to a 30-12 win. Daniels finished the game with three catches for 32 yards, the highest yardage total of any Houston receiver.

Daniels had 415 receiving yard on the season with 3 receiving touchdowns entering Week 9. Daniels was averaging 52 yards receiving per game. Daniels’ receiving yards per game were up nearly 10 yards per game from last season.

Daniels was ranked as the 7th ranked tight end according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Cleveland Browns who rank 2nd against the pass, giving up 172 passing yards per game.
