Ray Rice Fantasy Stats: Ravens Win Despite His Opening Touchdown Being Called Back

Ray Rice had some bad luck during Sunday Night Football's showdown between his Baltimore Ravens and the rival Pittsburgh Steelers, having his game-opening 76-yard touchdown run called back due to a holding penalty. The Ravens ultimately won anyway, but his fantasy owners might not be so lucky.

Rice finished Sunday night's game with 28 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries to go with 44 yards on five receptions from Joe Flacco.

Rice had 489 rushing yards and 373 receiving yard on the season with 5 rushing touchdown entering Week 9. Rice was averaging 70 yards rushing per game and 53 yards receiving per game. Rice’ rushing yards per game were down nearly 5 yards per game from last season.

Rice was ranked as the 7th ranked running back according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Pittsburgh Steelers who rank 8th against the run, giving up 99 rushing yards per game.
