Tim Tebow's still far off from the sort of quarterback play Andy Dalton has been able to put together as a rookie signal-caller with the surprising Bengals, much less the sort of quarterback play that is making Aaron Rodgers the runaway 2011 NFL MVP favorite, but his Broncos have a 2-1 record in his three starts. And their Week 10 win over the Raiders ended a losing streak against Oakland that dated back to 2009.
Tim Tebow Helps Broncos End Losing Streak Against Raiders Dating Back To 2009
SB Nation’s Denver blog is happy about that streak ending, but its Broncos-Raiders recap makes little mention of Tebow, who completed 10 of 21 passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns and added another 115 rushing yards.
Perhaps that is because Willis McGahee's 163 rushing yards and two touchdowns were deemed more integral than Tebow's efforts, or because those fans have accepted Tebow's run-heavy, accuracy-light approach for what it is. But they also get to discuss wins when Tebow starts, three of them in the six games he's started for the Broncos over two years, and that might be a bit more interesting for them than the same old "Is he a quarterback?!" questions.
