SB Nation’s Denver blog is happy about that streak ending, but its Broncos-Raiders recap makes little mention of Tebow, who completed 10 of 21 passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns and added another 115 rushing yards.

It remains to be seen if Ford will emerge as the Raiders number one receiver. Ford has struggled to get much going this season and finally had a breakout performance against the Broncos. For fantasy purposes, he is worth stashing on your bench, but it is hard to consider starting him on a regular basis when we don’t really know what Carson Palmer will do on a consistent basis. Of all the Raiders receivers, Ford is probably the best start moving forward. But it will be a roller coaster ride much of the way, which more or less describes the Raiders season.

McGahee fractured a bone in his hand a few weeks back and sat out last week’s game against Detroit. He had a plate and some pins inserted in his ball carrying hand, but that didn’t seem to be an issue for him. McGahee has had a resurgent 2011 season and he looks to be back on track after the hand injury.

Tebow finished the day 10 of 21 for 124 yards and two touchdowns. He added in 117 rushing yards on twelve carries. As has become expected in these kind of games, Tebow’s rushing totals drastically helped a questionable passing day. In an average league, Tebow would have netted approximately 24 points. A few rushing yards can do wonders for a quarterback’s fantasy performance.

Heyward-Bey had 434 receiving yard on the season with a single receiving touchdown entering Week 9. Heyward-Bey was averaging 72 yards receiving per game. Heyward-Bey’s receiving yards per game were up nearly 50 yards per game from last season.

Heyward-Bey was ranked as the 24th ranked wide receiver according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Denver Broncos who rank 19th against the pass, giving up 250 passing yards per game.

Tebow played well, throwing for 124 yards and two touchdowns and running for another 115 yards, but he completed fewer than half of his attempts on the day. And of Denver’s 21 unanswered points to close the game, Tebow scored zero.

The win pushes Denver to 3-5 on the year. Oakland falls to 4-4 with the loss.

Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris intercepted Carson Palmer at the end of the third quarter to set up a game-tying touchdown from the Broncos’ offense. After returning the pick for 15 yards, Denver had the ball on their own 40-yard line. On the second play of the ensuing drive, running back Willis McGahee broke through the middle for a 60-yard touchdown run. Check out the video of the play:

McGahee’s touchdown knotted the score at 24 points apiece. It also made McGahee the Broncos’ leading rusher in the game, for now. He has 119 yards on 17 carries halfway through the fourth quarter.

The athleticism and composure it takes for Ford to get two feet down in bounds on this play is absolutely nuts. The Raiders currently lead the Broncos by a score of 24-14 in the third quarter.

This looks like the Palmer of old. He calmly stepped up in the pocket and delivered a strike to Marcel Reece for 40 yards and the score.

According to the Broncos, Moore suffered a concussion on the play and will not return to the game. The NFL has strict rules governing concussions, and Moore will have to pass a battery of tests before he can return to action this season.

Moore is Denver’s starting free safety. A UCLA product, he was Denver’s second-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, and many considered him to be the best safety in the draft this year. Moore had made five starts in seven games this season for the rebuilding Broncos. He has 18 tackles and one interception for the season.

The Raiders will be fighting for an AFC West win in a division that’s very much up for grabs at this point.
