After Carson Palmer was thrown into the fire in his first appearance as an Oakland Raider, it appears he's shaken the rust. Palmer was almost destined for failure two weeks ago, going from the couch to the huddle after a trade sent him from Cincinnati to Oakland. Three interceptions later, his day mercifully ended.

But coming out of a bye and spending more time getting a feel for the offense seems to have done Palmer some good. Facing the Broncos on Sunday, Palmer is throwing more like the Palmer of old, as illustrated by the following touchdown pass.
This looks like the Palmer of old. He calmly stepped up in the pocket and delivered a strike to Marcel Reece for 40 yards and the score.
