The Dallas Cowboys are expected to be without Miles Austin for 2-4 weeks, according to Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas. Austin injured his hamstring in Sunday's victory over the Seattle Seahawks and did not return to the game.
Miles Austin Injury: Out 2-4 Weeks For Cowboys, According To Report
It's believed that Austin actually aggravated the same hamstring injury that cost him a couple of games earlier this season. If that's the case, it's a tough blow for a Cowboys team that needs to keep up with the New York Giants in the NFC East.
Austin finished Sunday's game with two receptions for 53 yards. Assuming he can't go next week, it'll be Laurent Robinson stepping in for him.
This is a tough stretch to lose a player like Austin. The Cowboys will play three games in 11 days, including their Thanksgiving day matchup. That means Austin could easily miss all three of those game, if the FOX Sports report is accurate.
