Devin Hester Injury: Bears Receiver Hurts Left Ankle

Chicago Bears wide receiver/kick returner Devin Hester injured his ankle in the middle of the fourth quarter. Hester went down trying to run a route, and while making a cut hurt his left ankle, limping off to the sidelines. Hester wasn’t putting any weight on his left foot as he went to the sideline and went straight to the bench.

Hester has been limited in the game so far with just 29 total return yards and just one catch for 19 yards, but missing Hester will hurt a bit. With Hester out, it removes one of quarterback Jay Cutler’s deep threat options and also impacts the Bears return game. The Eagles have done their best job limiting Hester in the return game, but with Hester all it takes is a single crease for him to bust the game open. Hester is questionable to return.
