Darren McFadden Injury: Raiders Officially Rule Him Out For Thursday Night Football

The Oakland Raiders have officially ruled out Darren McFadden for Thursday Night Football against the San Diego Chargers. McFadden injured his foot early in the Raiders Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs and, despite having the bye week to recover, also missed Oakland's Week 9 game.

Initial reports after that Week 7 game suggested he could be ready for Week 9 but that obviously wasn’t the case. Now it’s looking like his total rehab time will be 2-4 weeks.

The Raiders are lucky to have one of the best backup running backs in the league in Michael Bush, who has 333 yards and three touchdowns on 79 attempts this year.

The Raiders are tied for first place in the AFC West with San Diego so Thursday’s game is a big one as far as the division race is concerned.

The Raiders have a few injury questions heading into the game. Check out SB Nation’s Silver and Black Pride to get caught up.
