Things just keep getting tougher for the Buffalo Bills this season. After fading from a red hot start, the team now has to suffer the indignity of a blackout. The Bills announced today that they failed to meet the NFL's sellout requirement for their week 13 game against the Tennessee Titans, meaning fans in the Buffalo media market will not be able to see the game on local television affiliates.
Bills Blacked Out After Failing To Sell Out Titans Game
The Buffalo Bills’ week 13 game against the Titans will be blacked out.

The league has a backdoor route for preventing blackouts. Teams can buy the unsold tickets at 34 cents on the dollar. Buffalo declined that option this week. Declining to pick up the remaining tickets is sure to disappoint fans, especially after it was reported last month that the Bills could be seeking $100 million in public money for stadium improvement.
It could be worse, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be blacked out for the fifth time this season.
