The San Diego Chargers finally got off the losing schneid last week, ending a six-game losing streak with a 38-14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Buffalo Bills weren't so lucky, bringing their streak up to five straight losses after falling at the hands of the Tennessee Titans. The Bills hope to turn things around Sunday in San Diego, where the Chargers haven't won since Week 4.
Bills Vs. Chargers: TV Schedule, Game Time Announcers And More
The San Diego Chargers ended a six-game losing streak after dismantling the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. The Buffalo Bills hope to end their five-game losing streak when they visit San Diego on Sunday.
The Bills desperately need to reinvigorate an offense that looked explosive to start the season, but has averaged just 13.4 points per game during their current skid. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has thrown for six touchdowns to seven interceptions in the five game span, and the running game hasn't achieved much in the two games since Fred Jackson landed on injured reserve.
The Chargers, meanwhile, seemingly hit their stride in the passing game last week. Malcom Floyd had a big game after returning from a hip injury, catching four passes for 108 yards and a touchdown. Philip Rivers completed 78.6 percent of his passes for 294 yards and three touchdowns, posting an astronomical 146.1 quarterback rating. For Chargers fans, the performance is hopefully an indication that the mercurial quarterback is ready to put his recent string of poor outings behind him for good.
