Matt Hasselbeck Injury: Titans QB Questionable To Return

Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck left the field vs. the Saints with an injury to his left calf. Hasselbeck, who appeared to suffer a non-contact injury, is questionable to return, according to the Tennessee Titans official Twitter feed.

ESPN.com’s AFC South blogger Paul Kuharsky has more from the scene in Nashville:

Hasselbeck was hurt after a pass was batted in the air. Players chased it as it floated in the air and Hasselbeck got downfield a bit and ran in front of the play, unharrassed. He then hopped on one leg and went to the turf. The ball wound up falling incomplete. Titans Radio reported the team was trying to fit him with a brace on the sideline.

Titans rookie Jake Locker will step in at quarterback for Tennessee in the meantime. Since entering the game, Locker is 3 fot 6 for 51 yards and led the Titans to a field goal, their first score of the game.
