VIDEO: T.J. Yates Last-Second Game-Winning Touchdown Pass

Injuries finally looked like they would be too much for the Houston Texans to overcome this season. With T.J. Yates stepping into the void as their third quarterback option, following season-ending injuries to Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart, few felt like they could continue their progress. It looked like they would lose again today, to the Bengals who led 19-13 with less than three minutes left in the game. Yates led the Texans on a 13-play, 80-yard drive that concluded with a last-second game-winning touchdown pass to wide receiver Kevin Walter.

Check out the video of Yates’ game-winner right here.

This was the second start and second win of the season for Yates. Houston beat Atlanta last week. Yates entered their Week 12 game against Jacksonville after Leinart’s injury. They won that game too.

All T.J. Yates does is win? We’ll see about that, but the Texans showed some real resiliency today.
