Giants Vs. Cowboys Halftime Score: Dallas Leads In Back And Forth Game

It looked like the Dallas Cowboys would head into halftime behind on the scoreboard in their Sunday Night Football game against the New York Giants, but that wasn't quite the case. The hafltime score is 17-15 with the Cowboys on top in Dallas following a late field goal from Dan Bailey.

Bailey's field goal, a 49-yard attempt, offset Lawrence Tynes' kick through the uprights on the Giants previous possession. The Giants took the lead late in the second quarter with a Lawrence Tynes field goal, but it was set up once again by Jason Pierre-Paul and the New York defense. Paul was able to strip Felix Jones as he ran up the middle and the football ended up in the hands of the Giants -- with solid field position to boot.

That wasn't the first big play Pierre-Paul made in the game, either, as he was credited with a safety on Tony Romo earlier in the game.

The quarterback duel has been a bit one-sided as Eli Manning has completed just nine of his 19 attempts for 146 yards and a touchdown while Romo has thrown for two touchdowns and 104 yards while throwing just four incompletions. The running back battle is a bit more in sync, though, as Jacobs has rushed 13 times for 62 yards while Felix Jones has eight carries for 81 yards following the Demarco Murray injury.
