The New Orleans Saints are in the driver's seat in the NFC South and have locked up a playoff bid by virtue of a 10-3 record through 14 weeks. The Saints, however, have not claimed the division, with the Atlanta Falcons still holding a slim chance to pass them up. At 8-5, the Falcons are two games back in the South and need some help to secure a top-4 seed.

The New Orleans Saints have clinched a playoff bid and currently hold the No. 3 seed in the NFC.
The news is a bit better for the Falcons in the NFC wildcard picture. As it stands now, Atlanta holds the No. 5 seed in the NFC as the top wildcard team. Atlanta holds the tiebreaker over the Detroit Lions, who finished the week at 8-5, as well. Both teams hold a one-game advantage over the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys.
The Saints are also battling for a first-round bye and currently hold the No. 3 seed in the NFC. The San Francisco 49ers also hold a 10-3 record, but own the tiebreaker over New Orleans as it stands now.
