NFL Scores Week 14, Rams Vs. Seahawks: Marshawn Lynch, Seattle Run Over St. Louis, 30-13

The Seahawks rode Marshawn Lynch to a fourth win in fives tries to keep their slim playoff hopes alive against the Rams.

Marshawn Lynch was unstoppable on the ground, and the home crowd in Seattle showered their running back with Skittles as he lead the Seahawks past the Rams on Monday Night Football to wrap up Week 14 of the 2011 NFL season. Seattle jumped on top of the Rams in the first quarter and coasted to 30-13 win.

Sam Bradford showed some toughness by starting for the Rams despite an ankle injury, but he was beaten up and did not have an incredible impact on the game completing just 41 percent of his passes and throwing one interception compared to zero touchdowns. Steven Jackson scored a rushing touchdown late for St. Louis, but the Rams failed to recover the onside kick and the Seahawks scored on the ensuing possession to put the game away.

With the win, the Seahawks keep just barely alive in the NFL Playoff Picture at 6-7 before a big game against the Bears. For the Rams, the loss drops St. Louis to 2-11, another bump in a lumpy season.

It was not a pretty game, but we did get to see Lynch run hard and take Skittle bath (scroll down for the must-see animated GIF.)

Turning Point: In the first quarter, Doug Baldwin blocked a Rams punt (off his face!) and fullback Michael Robinson took it to the house for an early 7-0 lead, and the Seahawks really never looked back.

It Was Over When: The Rams failed to recover the onside kick after their first touchdown with less than five minutes left in the fourth quarter, trailing by 10. Lynch then finished off the win with the following touchdown run:

Offensive Player of the Game: Marshawn Lynch is the clear winner with 115 yards on the ground and the exclamation point touchdown to end the game. Forgive him for throwing two incomplete passes.
