Jets Vs. Eagles: TV Schedule, Game Time Announcers And More

The Jets and Eagles will be bringing their A-games on Sunday, in a game that has major playoff implications for both teams. The Jets are looking to register their first ever win at Lincoln Financial Field.

The New York Jets are headed in the right direction. After suffering two straight losses against the Patriots and Broncos, the Jets have won three straight to thrust themselves back into the playoff picture. At 8-5, they control their destiny for a spot in the AFC Wild Card, but only for the moment. A loss could put them back with the 7-6 Raiders and Titans, making this Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles pivotal for the Jets playoff chances.

The Eagles are still clinging to faint postseason hopes, but at 5-8 they will need help to catch the Giants and Cowboys atop the division. More than likely the Eagles will be looking to play spoiler from here on out, and considering their talent on both sides of the ball they could very well put a large damper on the Jets' season. Key to any kind of resurgence will be getting slumping Michael Vick to perform better than he did last week. Last Sunday's game against the Dolphins was Vick's first appearance in game since mid-November. The rust showed, as he went just 15-for-30 passing for 208 yards, one touchdown and an interception.

For the Jets, Mark Sanchez has been playing arguably his best football of the season, with seven touchdown passes to just one interception over the team's three-game winning streak. A revived running game has helped take the pressure off during the streak, averaging over 130 yards per game. Still, you should expect an A-game performance from a embattled Eagles squad. The Jets have never won at Lincoln Financial Field, and Philadelphia will be aiming to make sure it stays that way.
