NFL Scores Week 15, Lions Vs. Raiders: Calvin Johnson Unstoppable In 28-27 Detroit Win

The Detroit Lions used a last-minute comeback to beat the Oakland Raiders in Oakland. Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson proved to be too much for the Raiders defense. Megatron scored his second touchdown with less than a minute left in the game to give Detroit a 28-27 win.

With the ball back and 35 seconds left on the clock, Oakland made one last effort to win the game. They drove to the Lions' 47-yard line with four second left, and brought out the field goal unit to give Sebastian Janikowski the chance to win on a 65-yard field goal. Ndamukong Suh blocked the kick to hang on for the win.

Stafford and Johnson were nearly unstoppable. Johnson finished the game with 214 yards and two touchdowns on nine receptions. It was only the second time this season any wide receiver has broken the 200-yard mark in a single game. Stafford had 391 yards and four touchdowns.

Carson Palmer had his own connection going with Darius Heyward-Bey throughout the game. DHB finished with 155 yards and one touchdown after catching eight passes from Palmer. Michael Bush once again filled in for Darren McFadden, rushing for 77 yards 18 carries.

Detroit moves to 9-5 on the season. Along with the Falcons, they have a leg up in the wildcard hunt. They host the San Diego Chargers next week.

Oakland still trails Denver by one game in the AFC West. They travel to Kansas City for a division game against the Chiefs next week.
