It’s almost as if NFL officials are asking for some form of contact when signaling a touchdown. Think about it: When someone extends their arms above their head, isn’t it a natural reaction to want to high-five them? Maybe after all these years, referees have actually been wanting to join in on the celebration.

So of course Vincent Jackson decided to give the referee what he wanted. After Ryan Mathews dove into the end zone for a touchdown in the third quarter of the Sunday Night Football matchup between the San Diego Chargers and Baltimore Ravens, Jackson zoomed over to one of the linesmen and gave him a high-five.

Doesn’t it just warm your heart to see Jackson happy like a little kid, high-fiving an official? This would’ve been in the running for gif of the day, if not for the monkey riding a dog moment.
