Marshawn Lynch’s Fantasy Stats Show Another Big Week For Seahawks RB

Beastmode is upon us. The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football, 31-14, and they did that due in part to a big day from RB Marshawn Lynch, who ended the game with 148 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

Lynch’s touchdowns were both a thing of beauty. The first one came when he barreled into the Eagles defensive line appearing to be swallowed up by all the Philly defenders but somehow, someway he broke out of it and scampered in for the touchdown. The second one was an impressive 40-yard run that gave the Seahawks a 14-0 lead.

Lynch was clearly dominating in the first half against the Eagles and this marks another week in his hot streak.

Lynch has gone over 100 yards rushing in three of his last four outings, averaging better than 26 carry per game. It’s safe to say that he has played himself back into fantasy relevance, after failing to top the century mark through the first eight weeks of the season. He has also scored a touchdown in each of the Seahawks’ last seven games.

Lynch ranked 11th in this week’s running back rankings over at the SB Nation blog Fake Teams. He is only mildly more useful in PPR leagues, garnering 14 targets over his last four games.
