The Colts are coming off of a win for the first time in nearly a year, and for the second straight week they can play the role of spoiler against a team in their own division. The Houston Texans have already clinched the division and their first ever playoff berth, but they need a win in Thursday's game in order to stay in the hunt for a first round playoff bye. SB Nation's official odds partner Oddsshark lists the Texans as only a 5.5 point favorite coming off their loss at Carolina:

The Houston Texans lost predictably in Week 15 and may be in line to do it again when they visit the Indianapolis Colts. After clinching in Week 14, Houston lost at home to Carolina and this week visit the Colts, who come off a big win that broke their imperfect season. Logic dictates the Colts will have more motivation here, while the Texans nurse injuries.

Houston already won by 27 over the Colts in week 1 and at the time that margin of victory barely told the story of how dominant Houston was. The Texans are battling a number of injuries, however. The Colts defense played solid for the first time all season last week, giving them confidence in their final home game of 2011.
