NFL Odds And Lines Week 16: Vikings Vs. Redskins

The Minnesota Vikings are close to ending this season of misery, but they’ll need Adrian Peterson to make it jsut a tad less disheartening. Can Peterson run wild over the Washington Redskins?

After a shaky start against the New York Giants, the Washington Redskins came back to win the game in convincing fashion, 23-10. Washington will go for its second straight win, which the team was last able to do after the first two games of the season. The Minnesota Vikings, though, will attempt to stand in the way. The odds makers don't see many people believing in the Vikings this week, as Odds Shark opened the line at six points in favor of the Redskins. It has since shifted by as much as one point higher.

The Vikings, on the other hand, are looking to end a six-game losing streak. They'll need Adrian Peterson to get more than the 10 touches he did last week against the New Orleans Saints in order to win. This is a winnable game for the Vikings, and Peterson must be a big part of that.

The over/under for this game is set at 44 points, which is doable. If Peterson can have one of his big games, the Viking will surely be in front for most of the game.
