The Many Faces Of Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning wasn't playing, nor was he in uniform on Thursday night as the Indianapolis Colts took on the Houston Texans. Manning continues to rehab from neck surgery and won't be playing at all this season. But that doesn't mean Manning cameos weren't prevalent on Thursday Night Football as the NFL Network seemed to have a camera trained on him at all times. And we're extremely grateful for the Manning Cam.

Throughout the night, Manning was caught making a variety of funny faces, usually with a twinge of pain -- not from the injury, but from watching the Colts’ play on the field. He gritted his teeth, gave death glares and even dropped to his knees at one point. It was a show within the show.

Things weren’t going so well in the first half, leading to this amazing shot of Manning on the sidelines. By amazing I mean frightening, though it’s hilarious when accompanied by this soundtrack.

Here we have Manning applying body english or trying to work a charley horse out of his leg.

Finally, the stress of watching the action got to be too much. Down goes Manning!

And yet, the Colts ended up winning! A win streak! Wait until next week, when the No. 1 pick is on the line as the Colts take on the Jags. Here’s hoping the Manning Cam trend that’s been going on for much of the year continues, perhaps in split screen form.
