The hits keep coming for the woeful Minnesota Vikings. In their Week 16 battle with the Washington Redskins, the Vikings have lost Adrian Peterson to a knee injury and lost starting quarterback Christian Ponder to a concussion.
Christian Ponder Injury: Vikings QB Leaves Game With Concussion
The Vikings have lost Christian Ponder and Adrian Peterson to injury in Week 16.

Ponder left the game and was examined on the sideline after taking a big hit in the second half of Saturday's game, and was replaced under center by Joe Webb. Ponder has a concussion and will not return.
It's the latest issue for a Vikings offense that has been taxed all season: Ponder succeeded the ineffective Donovan McNabb midway through the year, Peterson had missed time with an ankle injury before getting hurt on Saturday, and Percy Harvin has struggled with his usual assortment of maladies.
The good news for the Vikings: Webb and Peterson replacement Toby Gerhart combined to lead them on a touchdown drive shortly after both Peterson and Ponder left the game.
