In the least surprising flex move possible, NBC opted to flex the Week 17 matchup between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys into primetime. The Cowboys travel to the Meadowlands in Week 17 with the NFC East hanging in the balance in a winner-take-all matchup, making it an easy flex choice. The matchup will be broadcast at 8:20 p.m. Eastern on NBC.
Cowboys Vs. Giants Moved To Primetime; Falcons-Bucs Moved To 4:15 P.M.
The Week 17 matchup between the Cowboys and Giants for the NFC East crown has been flexed into primetime and will be carried on NBC at 8:20 p.m.

The Giants ensured the Week 17 matchup will be for all the marbles -- the winner takes the NFC East crown and earns a home playoff game while the loser misses the postseason -- with a 29-14 win over the Jets on Sunday afternoon. Playing for nothing, the Cowboys fell to NFC East rival Philadelphia, but may have lost Tony Romo in the process. Romo injured his hand after hitting it on a helmet while throwing a pass in the first quarter, though x-rays were negative.
The matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons that was originally scheduled for the primetime slot on NBC has been moved to 4:15 p.m. Eastern.
