Falcons Vs. Saints: TV Schedule, Game Time Announcers And More

The New Orleans Saints have a playoff spot clinched, but the Atlanta Falcons need a win if they want to climb to the top of the Wild Card ladder.

The New Orleans Saints have sealed their spot in the 2011 NFL playoffs, but they're not satisfied with that. During the Saints current run, most of the attention has been on teams like the Green Bay Packers or on Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos, but the Saints have shown to be one of the best teams in the NFL this season. "The sky's the limit and that's where we're trying to get to," New Orleans safety Roman Harper said. "Our goal is nothing less than a victory in the Super Bowl, and right now we just trying to stay focused and take it one step at a time."

Quarterback Drew Brees is having a stellar season, on pace to surpass Hall Of Famer Dan Marino for the single season passing yardage record, needed just 305 yards to break the 5,084 mark set by the former Miami Dolphin great. "I'm as comfortable now in this offense as I've ever been," Brees said. "I'm aware that we're close. I just know if we keep doing what we're doing all of that stuff will take care of itself."

The Atlanta Falcons however haven't officially punched their ticket to the playoffs, needing to win one of their final two games of the season to make their way in. "We control what we can control," Falcons coach Mike Smith said. "It's obvious our guys are familiar with the scenarios we are in. I know our guys are aware of it. We're not going to change our preparation, how we prepare. We try to be as steady as we can and just continue to move forward like we have all season." A win against the Saints on the road could set up a potential rematch in the same building in the divisional round of the playoffs, provided the Falcons get in and win a game as the Wild Card entry. In the first match up of the season, New Orleans won a close one 26-23 on a questionable call by Falcons head coach Mike Smith at the end of the game.
