Dez Bryant Facing Another Lawsuit For Unpaid Debt

Dez Bryant is facing another lawsuit -- this time from a New York based company alleging he owes $50,000.

Dez Bryant is facing another lawsuit, according to a report on Wednesday afternoon. The lawsuit, which is the third alleging Bryant owes money, comes from a New York City based finance company that loans money to high-profile clients for cars, homes and other lavish items. And because Endurance Capital Fund was unable to serve Bryant in Dallas, now seems like a great time to hunt him down!

Two important notes from the Boston Herald report: the suit alleges Bryant owes $50,000 and the news comes as the Cowboys and Giants prepare to play for the AFC East championship.

Endurance Capital Fund, a NY-based micro-finance company, is alleging that Bryant borrowed $100,000 and has refused to repay the full amount owed. The debt is now over one year past due, and Bryant currently owes more than $50,000.

Representatives for the company may try to serve him at the team hotel, but it also may wait until next week or whenever the Cowboys season is over.

The lawsuit itself isn’t too interesting -- $50,000 isn’t an incredible amount. The timing, however, does raise some eyebrows. As Bryant and the Cowboys head to New York for a winner-take-all matchup with the Giants, word of the lawsuit suddenly leaks. Just one more distraction to deal with in a week that’s sure to be filled with hoopla.
