The early indication from league sources is that Forte appears to have suffered an MCL sprain, reports Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times. Further testing will be required to know the extent of his injury and any timeline for his return.
Forte had picked up 12 yards on five carries before leaving Sunday’s game against the chiefs, which the Bears eventually lost, 10-3.
