The New Orleans Saints are hosting the Detroit Lions in this week's Sunday Night Football matchup. The Lions have added to their score following halftime, but still trail by a score of 24-10.

The Lions were able to pick up another score in the beginning of the third quarter. Detroit put together an 86-yard drive on 11 plays, but in the end were forced to settle for a 31-yard Jason Hanson field goal that brought the score to 24-10 in favor of New Orleans.

The Lions have been hit with seven penalties, for a total of 59 penalty yards, while the Saints have only been charged with one penalty the entire game. The Lions defense has done a poor job stopping the passing game of Drew Brees and the Detroit offense has yet to come together.
