The Denver Broncos are scheduled to play the New England Patriots in the 4:15 p.m. (ET) game on Dec. 18 and two networks are battling over who gets to air the game.
NBC, CBS Both Want Patriots-Broncos Game On Dec. 18
The Patriots and Broncos play on Dec. 18, a game scheduled to be on CBS. But NBC and the NFL want to move the game, which features Tim Tebow vs. Tom Brady, to Sunday night.

The matchup is currently scheduled to be on CBS but the NFL's flex scheduling rules allows NBC to swap out Sunday night games. The Baltimore Ravens and San Diego Chargers is the game originally scheduled for Sunday night but multiple reports say the league and NBC want the Patriots-Broncos game on Sunday night.
CBS, understanding the ratings bonanza that comes along with Tim Tebow vs. Tom Brady, is fighting to keep the game on their network. As far as TV ratings go, this is one of the marquee matchups because the Broncos are relevant again but mostly because Tebow draws such a crowd (not to mention Brady).
The league is expected to announce their decision at some point on Tuesday.
