Darren McFadden Injury: Raiders RB Out For Packers Game

For the sixth week in a row, Darren McFadden will be out of commission due to injury. The Oakland Raiders running back is still out due to a mid-foot sprain and will miss his team's game against the Green Bay Packers. McFadden is yet to play with new Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer, and Michael Bush will be the man getting the bulk of the carries yet again for the Silver and Black.

McFadden has not played since his team's 28-0 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on October 23. He carried the ball just twice in that game before going out injured. Bush has struggled in the Raiders' last two games against the Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins, but had performed extremely well before that.

Oakland is still tied for the lead atop the AFC West. The Denver Broncos have a run with a couple of tricky games coming up, as well as a couple of softballs. The same goes for Oakland, who face Green Bay this week and the Detroit Lions the next, before closing out their schedule with games against the San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs. With McFadden back in the lineup, Oakland will have two starter-quality running backs to take the pressure off of Carson Palmer. That certainly would have been useful this week against the Packers, but the Raiders can still win the division even if things don't go their way this week.
