Thursday Night Football, Browns Vs. Steelers Score Update: Pittsburgh Holds Early 7-3 Lead

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns kicked off on Thursday Night Football with the Browns getting the football first. To the surprise of many, Browns quarterback Colt McCoy marched the Browns right down the football field, going four for four passing the football, including a deep pass to tight end Evan Moore. A few plays later, a Colt McCoy scramble looked like he got in the endzone, but the call was overturned as McCoy's elbow was down right before the goal line. Running back Peyton Hillis was stuffed on the next play and the Browns had to settle for the field goal to take an early 3-0 lead.

On the Steelers ensuing drive, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger went right down the football field with ease. It took just six plays by the Steelers offense before Roethlisberger hit Jerrico Cotchery in the endzone for the 11-yard touchdown pass. After the teams offenses both marched down the field on their opening drives, they bogged down a bit. The Steelers ended the first quarter with the 7-3 lead and the football.
