"It's pretty unusual with a month left in the season to see sportsbooks basically concede a bet and stopoffering lines on a player," said Mike Pickett of OddsShark.com. "But he has been laser-sharp all season, the Packers are 12-0 and he looks unstoppable on the field and at the MVP balloting station."
At least according to online sportsbook Bodog, which has New England Patriots QB Tom Brady, last year's MVP, listed as the favorite to finish second. The Patriots QB is -150 on the NFL MVP prop menu, while Drew Brees - also having a dominant season for the New Orleans Saints - is second choice to finish second at +150. Ben Roethlisberger is a +500 bet to be runner up in voting while Tim Tebow, who wasn't even a starteruntil October is also listed at +1000 at Bodog.
Among other interesting Week 14 props are a series involving the league's best quarterbacks. This time,the sportsbook are not conceding the bet to Rodgers; in fact, he is the third choice on one wager.
