NFL Picks And Predictions Week 14: Saints Vs. Titans

The Saints are getting hot at the right time and NFL analysts don’t see that slowing down this week against the Titans.

The Saints have won four straight games and looked darn good doing it. So who can stop the mighty New Orleans? Probably not the Titans, the Week 14 matchup on the Saints 2011 NFL schedule.

Tennessee is a below average team at defending the pass, something the Saints do better than any team in the league because of Drew Brees and Sean Payton's offense. Sports Illustrated's Peter King explains his pick of New Orleans:

Hard not to love the Saints right now, and hard to think they're not destined for the Wild Card round barring the 49ers losing a game they shouldn't down the stretch. I can see the Saints running the table (at Minnesota, Atlanta, Carolina) and, at 13-3, creaming someone in the first round of the playoffs. By the way, this is an obscure stat, but it says everything about the ability of Drew Brees and the chemistry of Brees and coach Sean Payton: Brees has 20 or more completions in an NFL-record 32 straight games.

Not bad. The ESPN.com panel also likes the Saints, with everyone but Chris Mortensen picking New Orleans. More of the same at CBSSports.com where all five experts like the team from N’awlins.

Meanwhile, SB Nation’s Andrew Sharp has a mostly unrelated but totally compelling story about former Saints receiver Joe Horn in his NFL Picks Week 14 column. Go read it!
