2011 Super Bowl Halftime Show From Start To Finish

The 2011 Super Bowl halftime show was interesting to say the least. From Slash to Usher to the Black Eyed Peas, fans were treated to a show. Whether it was an entertaining show or not depends on your musical taste but it was different, that’s for sure.

It took about 10 minutes for the stage to be constructed which is pretty incredible time considering the amount of detail involved. The Black Eyed Peas started the show and fans were greeted with surprise visits from Slash and Usher during the performance.

Fans were told before the game that they would be participating in the halftime show. Under every seat was a glowstick and the JumboTron, err JerryTron, flashed instructions on when to pull out the glow sticks, when to break them and when to slowly wave them.

The reaction in the stadium was positive -- or fans could also just be really happy from all the beer they’re drinking.
