If the New York Giants don't start their season 2-0 headed into the big Week 3 clash with the Eagles, and at least 5-2 headed into the Week 9 game against the Patriots (we'll allow one slip-up), the alarm bells are seriously going to be ringing in New York. The Giants' schedule ranks as the 22nd hardest based on last year's records, and most of their easy games come in the first half of the season. If the Giants want to be playing in January of 2012, they're going to have to get off to a hot start.
