After hosting the Minnesota Vikings to open the 2011 NFL season, the San Diego Chargers face an early test as they travel to Foxborough to take-on the New England Patriots in week two. It’s a chance for the Chargers to make an early statement and get the season started on the right foot as they get set to open the divisional schedule at home against the Kansas City Chiefs in week three.
San Diego Chargers 2011 Schedule: Early Season Tests Await
The Chiefs and Chargers face-off twice in the first eight weeks, the second of which comes on Monday Night Football in week eight. The week after, on Nov. 6, the Chargers host the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers to cap a difficult start to the season. With plenty of tough matchups early, we should know where the Chargers stand and have a good picture of where their season is headed by week 10.
