The good news for the Miami Dolphins is that they open the season with a nationally televised home game on Monday Night Football. The bad news, however, comes in the form of the Dolphins’ first opponent: The New England Patriots. it’s a chance to make an early statement, but is one of the tougher opening games a team could have. So much for working out the kinks early.
Miami Dolphins 2011 Schedule: New England Patriots Await In Monday Night Opener
The Dolphins find themselves on national television three times, with a second Monday Night Football game set for Oct. 17 at New Meadowlands against the New York Jets. Miami also has a Thanksgiving Day date with the Dallas Cowboys on the road in Arlington.
