Yep, Darnell Dockett’s Still Incredible

Screen_shot_2011-07-11_at_11

↵As the Summer Of Darnell Dockett continues, we have a new anecdote to share. This past weekend in Portland, I was talking to an ex-college football player who told me that while Darnell Dockett was at FSU, he drove an ambulance with a hot tub in the back.

↵We can only hope he spent offseasons parading around campus, inviting coeds for a ride with “Dr. Dockett.” (An image that’s both a comedy dream come true and 100% nightmare fuel).

↵The context of this story is irrelevant, isn’t it? Who knows if it’s even true. I’m just glad it might be. Most importantly, you’d believe it. And so, it’s offiicial: After an arduous search, football finally has a worthy counterpart to Ron Artest. No Dockett story is too crazy to believe, and ... *winks* ... that’s why we love him.
