Adam Schefter tweets that Clayborn has become the first 2011 NFL first-round draft pick to agree to an NFL contract, coming to terms with the Buccaneers late Tuesday night.
The Buccaneers selected Clayborn out of Iowa with the 20th pick in the draft. Clayborn was one of eight defensive ends drafted in the first round, in what was considered an excellent year for the position.
