Donovan NcNabb's trade to the Minnesota Vikings is complete and will be officially announced on Thursday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. It now appears that McNabb and the Vikings have restructured his contract to avoid the big bonus he was due at the start of the season.

The Washington Redskins will receive a 2012 sixth-round NFL Draft pick and a conditional 2013 sixth-round NFL Draft pick in return for the quarterback.
McNabb will now be the starter for the Vikings and help mentor 2011 first-round draft pick Christian Ponder. The rookie was in line to be the opening game quarterback, but now he will have time to grow into the Vikings' quarterback of the future. Joe Webb will slot in as the No. 3 quarterback on the roster.
