Chad Ochocinco Won’t Have To Change His Name In New England

There was really no question Chad Ochocinco was going to get No. 85 when he joined the New England Patriots. Prior to this season, Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez had the number in his possession, but when a veteran waltzes into camp with a last name to match his jersey number, it was only a matter of time before he got what he wanted.

↵Still, if the reports out of New England are correct, Hernandez lost out on a serious chance to be showered with gifts and money.

Not confirmed yet but I'm hearing Hernandez asked for nothing and just gave 85 to Ochocinco to welcome him to the team.less than a minute ago via TweetDeck Favorite Retweet Reply

↵In negotiating terms, Hernandez had all the leverage with Ochocinco fully committed to that 85. C’mon son, at least make him buy you a car or something. Make Ochocinco sweat a little bit.
