Barret Ruud and the Tennessee Titans reportedly agreed to a one-year deal on Saturday night.
Barrett Ruud Agrees To Contract With Tennessee Titans, According To Report
Ruud is optimistic about the deal, and told reporters he planned to use it as somewhat of a learning experience, gleaning knowledge from Titans’ coordinator Jerry Gray.
Since 2007, Ruud started all but one game for the Buccaneers, recording more than 100 tackles in both the 2008 and 2009 season. He’d been a mainstay at the middle linebacker spot, anchoring the Tampa Bay defense over the four-year period. For his career, Ruud has 431 tackles, six interceptions and four forced fumbles.
