Maybe the Washington Redskins official Twitter account shouldn't tweet out everything QB Rex Grossman says. Earlier this week it was his prediction that the Redskins would win the NFC East.
Don’t Bet On Rex Grossman’s Predictions
On Wednesday, it was this:
Rex Grossman also said 2011 Redskins are "every bit as good" as 2006 Chicago Bears team he led to Super Bowl berth.
But...
The Bears won 13 games that year. They had the second ranked offense and second ranked defense. They started out 7-0 that year winning five of those games by 29 points or more. They went to the Super Bowl.
The Redskins, on the other hand, are coming off of a six-win season. They were the 25th ranked offense and 21st ranked defense. They just weren’t very good.
Let’s hope this prediction turns out better for the Redskins than his last one.
