The New Orleans Saints travel to Houston to face the Texans in week two of the NFL preseason, Saturday evening on the NFL Network. The Saints are coming off a 24-3 victory over the 49ers in which they brought the house every down, blitzing like crazy. They'll face a slightly tougher QB in Matt Schaub who could make them pay for ill-timed blitzes. The Saints first team offense will look to improve their performance on Saturday as the prolific Drew Brees-led passing attack was held to six yards passing in the first quarter against the 49ers.
The Texans are coming off a 20-16 victory over the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. It was a fairly sloppy game and Houston will look to clean things up a bit this week. J.J. Watt will continue working to take control of a starting role with the Texans. He did not show up on the stats sheet last week, but did make his presence known on a couple occasions. On offense, the Texans will continue using the preseason to establish their backup QB options in Matt Leinart and Taylor Yates.
