Redskins Vs. Ravens: Game Time, TV Schedule, Position Battles and More

The Redskins will look to stay undefeated in the preseason on Thursday night when they make the short trip to Baltimore to play the Ravens.

The Redskins (2-0) will make the short trip to Baltimore to face the Ravens on Thursday night as part of week three of the NFL's preseason schedule. The biggest Redskins position battle is at quarterback where former Raven John Beck has a lead over Rex Grossman as the team's starter. Keep an eye out for starting running back Tim Hightower, who had a limited role in three years with the Arizona Cardinals but looked impressive in last week's 16-3 win over the Colts on six rushes for 70 yards and the team's only rushing touchdown.

The Ravens (1-1) are coming off a 31-13 win over the Chiefs and will look to take care of business again on Thursday night. Keep an eye out for quarterback, Tyrod Taylor, a rookie out of Virginia Tech. He looked fairly impressive in the team's two preseason games and during training camp. He may win the confidence of the coaches to be named Joe Flacco's backup. Last season the Ravens went out and got Marc Bulger, who retired this summer, to be an insurance policy in case Flacco went down. Also, making his debut for the Ravens will be former Vikings pro bowl left tackle Byrant McKinnie, who signed with the team on Tuesday and will likely start at right tackle by the time the regular season starts.
