The Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Redskins are locked into as competitive a game as the NFL preseason allows. The teams are knotted up, 21-21, after a 12-yard Anquan Boldin touchdown midway through the third quarter of their Thursday night exhibition.
Redskins Vs. Ravens Score: Anquan Boldin Touchdown Ties Game, 21-21
Starting Ravens' quarterback Joe Flacco remained in the game throughout much of the third quarter, finally exiting after throwing for 219 yards and two touchdowns, including a 35-yard bullet to Lee Evans that tied the score at 14-14 in the second.
Rookie Tyrod Taylor has now taken Flacco's place and will look to make his mark on the team. Though the 22-year-old's first series was an unsuccessful one, as the Ravens quickly went three-and-out.
Meanwhile, potential Redskins' quarterbacks Rex Grossman and John Beck have engaged in a fierce battle to earn the starting job, though tonight has definitely leaned farther towards Grossman. The former-Bear performed efficiently while leading Washington to multiple scoring drives, including a 24-yard touchdown bomb to Santana Moss. Beck, on the other hand, has looked overmatched, throwing a horrible downfield interception to Lardarius Webb.
