Packers Vs. Colts Score: Curtis Painer Perks Up, Colts Take 14-10 Halftime Lead

No telling whether it's enough to fend off an expected challenge from veteran Kerry Collins, but Curtis Painter has undergone a sort of renaissance in the second quarter to turn around what had been some unremarkable numbers. He's put together two touchdown drives to give the Colts the lead at the half.

The first touchdown was a throw to a wide open Reggie Wayne off a blown coverage by the Packers' secondary. Wayne practically walked into the end zone after grabbing the pass from Painter. The second touchdown was at the end of an inside-two-minute drive that started at the Colts' 31-yard line. Painter also got Indianapolis into position to try a 39-yard field goal, but Adam Vinatieri yanked it left. Overall, Painter is now 10-of-20 for 166 yards and two touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, the Colts' pass rush has also woken up, sacking Aaron Rodgers three times in the second quarter, two of them forcing field goal attempts. Mason Crosby missed the second 41-yarder, which means the Colts lead is four instead of one. Rodgers is still 19-of-23 for 204 yards and a touchdown, while Crosby has hit a 26-yarder.
